StrokeBrain™ is the app, digital, and software division of Valerie Asher LLC. The logo above is my actual brain MRI from January 12, 2022. The yellow splotch was my stroke. That day, I had a major stroke — an intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) in my left basal ganglia, when a blood vessel burst and bled into my brain tissue. It cut off communication from my brain to the entire right side of my body, and it affected the areas that guide emotion and executive decision-making. I lost a great deal, yet I regained sight, hearing, and speech first, even with impediments. I am still here. I refuse to give up. Creative, a little broken, a little whimsical, still here, always striving. This is the home where every learning tool under our umbrella is designed to meet people exactly where they are.

The word Itugma, meaning "match" or "make it match" in Tagalog, perfectly encapsulates its essence. It links the game to culture, memory, family, and the core action of the app: connecting what belongs together. Itugma™ starts with country flags, then broadens to state flags, Pride flags, faith symbols, major faiths, and supplementary categories. Each tile is meticulously designed like a mahjong tile: green on the back, white on the face, created to be turned over, examined, matched, and committed to memory.
