Teodorie Agdeppa Ravara, born and raised in San Francisco, has built her life on faith, resilience, and a refusal to be underestimated.

A survivor of cancer, stroke, and more than thirty-five anaphylactic reactions, Teodorie understands what it means to rebuild from the ground up. Before disability reshaped her daily life, she completed four full marathons, three half marathons, and three triathlons. Today, that same determination fuels her work as a founder, author, advocate, and inventor.

Teodorie has been married for 27 years to her Junior Prom date and “saint of a husband,” George Ravara, whom she lovingly calls “the true hero of heroes.” George works full-time as a Project Manager and Financial Advocate while also serving as her primary caregiver. Together, they share three children, Tia, Geordie, and Rylie Anne, along with their Goldendoodle service dog, Remington Riker, and their faithful bearded dragon, Fred.

Her professional background spans multiple industries and a wide range of roles. She has experience in food service, furniture and interior design, background checks, transcription, private investigation, administration, marketing, technical support, quality assurance, and software engineering. In the 1990s, she taught Microsoft Word and Excel to administrative assistants and helped organize an office of consultants from the ground up. Later, as an Executive Administrative Assistant under a Senior Vice President of Marketing at a medical devices company, she developed extensive marketing expertise and authored internal procedures.

In 1999, Teodorie joined infoSolv Inc. as employee number two and office manager. The company later became OneSecure Inc., growing to more than 200 employees. She remained with the company through two acquisitions, NetScreen and Juniper Networks, advancing from Office Manager to SOC Engineer, TAC Support, QA Engineer, and ultimately Senior QA Engineer, all before earning her bachelor’s degree.

She later earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management summa cum laude while working full-time as a Senior QA Engineer, demonstrating to her children the value of finishing what you start.

Today, Teodorie is the CEO and Founder of Valerie Asher LLC, a company built on strength, faith, bold honesty, and purposeful creation. After years of illness, survival, and recovery, she transformed her experiences into a blueprint for resilience, self-advocacy, and new beginnings when all feels lost.

Through Valerie Asher LLC, Teodorie leads work across publishing, writing, accessibility, adaptive products, and disability-focused innovation. She originated the concept for Enlighten in October 2014 and officially copyrighted it on November 12, 2014. She also created MeTone™ and Itugma™, both currently in beta, and is designing patent-worthy product concepts specifically for one-handed individuals.

Teodorie’s work is dedicated to the underestimated, the overlooked, the recovering, the rebuilding, and those striving even when the world has counted them out.

George Ravara serves as interim Chief Financial Officer for Valerie Asher LLC, bringing decades of experience in project management, facilities operations, budgeting, vendor negotiations, compliance, safety, financial awareness, and organizational leadership.

George currently works at Bloom Energy as a Facilities Engineer Project Manager. He began with Bloom Energy as a contractor in July 2024 and became a full-time employee in August 2025.

His professional background spans high-tech startups, medical device companies, public sector environments, clean energy, and education-related facilities management. George has led major expansion, relocation, contraction, and closure projects across multiple states, managed multi-site facilities, reduced operating budgets, negotiated vendor contracts, supported R&D environments, and guided teams through complex operational change.

Beyond his professional work, George has served his church, schools, and community through Junior Achievement, school events, adult education, and the Knights of Columbus. He is a former Grand Knight and current Treasurer of Knights of Columbus Council #1615, supporting parish, charitable, and community service efforts for All Saints and St. Bede parishes in Hayward, California.

At Valerie Asher LLC, George brings steady leadership, practical problem-solving, financial discipline, faith, and a deep commitment to building work that serves families, communities, and people who need support most.

Elizabeth Orozco is passionate about stories that inspire healing, compassion, hope, and personal growth. She believes books and poetry have the power to spark meaningful conversations, strengthen relationships, and bring comfort during life’s most challenging moments.

A devoted wife and mother, Elizabeth values faith, family, and living with intention. She enjoys exploring different perspectives and encouraging others to find strength through life’s obstacles. Her passions include reading poetry, expressing herself through writing, hiking, chasing waterfalls, and continually investing in her own personal growth. She strives to live a life rooted in purpose, kindness, and compassion while passing those values on to her family.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Elizabeth brings creativity, organization, and genuine enthusiasm to Valerie Asher LLC. Her experience in social media, community outreach, and strategic communication, combined with her heart for serving others, helps advance our mission of creating meaningful connections and making a lasting impact. She is truly a blessing to the Valerie Asher LLC family.

Geordie Ravara is the CFO and Lead Author for Valerie Asher Publishing, a division of Valerie Asher LLC. A writer, performer, and creative world-builder, Geordie brings more than 17 years of creative arts experience to the company’s publishing work, including several years of professional experience in performance, voice work, and creative development. At only 22 years old, that depth of experience is extraordinary.

As co-author of Setting Sun, Geordie helped expand Teodorie Agdeppa Ravara’s original Enlighten concept into a larger connected story universe rooted in grief, identity, family, faith, love, and the courage it takes to keep going.

Geordie will continue developing the Enlighten series through multiple story worlds, including Rianne’s World, Skylar’s World, Greg’s World, and Zack’s World.

Beyond publishing, Geordie is currently working full-time at Bloom Energy while preparing to return to college and continue pursuing their long-term dream of becoming an orthopedic surgeon. Their path reflects the same heart found in their creative work: a deep interest in people, healing, resilience, and helping others move forward.
